Vacations may not only be enjoyable, but also health promoting. This is particularly important for all people who work intensively during the year and constantly running the risk of the burn-out syndrome and other serious work or stress related ailments.

The human body, needs time to repair damage in physical and mental health provoked by the habitual intensive modern work schedule. It has been estimated that working for more than 48 hours per week, doubles the human organism stress, which definitely is not what is best for the heart and our health in general.

Additionally, it was found that we need at least two weeks of vacations in order to recuperate, build up new energy and rejuvenate. Of course this will happen provided that we do not get occupied with professional matters during our precious holiday time.

Everybody knows how easy is now days, thanks to mobile communication facilities to be actually working while being on a lovely beach. But such situations spoil the magic of vacations not only for yourselves but as well for your family members who spend their vacation with you.

You do not loose precious time when you take time for summer holidays. The benefits you will reap, are important when you return back to work.

Research has shown that working people who take adequate vacation, are more efficient, productive and healthier. This is good not only for them and their personal achievements and progress but as well for their companies and employers.
